The Challenge

School dropout driven by poverty, loss of indigenous tree species, and climate vulnerability, compounded by limited environmental education.

My Role

Supported project conceptualisation and programme design, advocacy and storytelling strategy, and development of sustainability and impact frameworks.

Solution

Learners establish indigenous tree nurseries; schools generate income from seedling sales; environmental conservation is woven into the curriculum.

Impact

Working toward increased school retention, restored indigenous biodiversity, and community-owned models for sustainability.

Planting trees to grow futures, livelihoods, and resilience simultaneously.
