The Challenge
Teachers, especially in mainstream and integrated settings, often lack practical strategies for including learners with disabilities in everyday classroom activities.
My Role
Co-facilitated teacher professional development sessions on inclusive play methodologies and Universal Design for Learning, in partnership with the Clinton Health Access Initiative and the Ministry of Education.
Impact
More than 400 teachers trained across special schools, integrated programmes, mainstream schools, and early childhood centres — building confidence, awareness of low-cost adaptive materials, and stronger classroom inclusion strategies.
Equipping teachers to see play not as a break from learning, but as one of its most powerful pathways.
