The Challenge
Inclusive education is a global conversation, but global forums rarely hear directly from those implementing policy in the field.
My Role
Represented Kenya’s Ministry of Education, alongside the Director of Special Needs Education, in international knowledge-exchange sessions in West Sussex — contributing field insights on teacher capacity development, disability screening, and assistive technology.
Impact
Strengthened international networks for collaboration in disability inclusion and helped connect global policy conversations to Kenya’s on-the-ground realities.
Inclusive education is a global conversation, but its success depends on local action, local partnerships, and local ownership.
